Ping Filter
The Ping Filter is a multimode filter that provides simultaneous high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass outputs.
TRIG IN is designed for pinging: an incoming gate signal is converted into a trigger and sent to the audio input of the VCF circuit. The filter is intentionally designed not to self-oscillate even at maximum resonance, allowing it to produce clear, percussive, and organic sounds when pinged.
The pitch of the pinged sound can be adjusted with the FREQ slider or by controlling the cutoff frequency with an external CV.
The independent NOISE OUT provides white noise. Patching it into the filter IN allows you to create a variety of filtered noise colors, while patching it into FM IN lets you use it as a modulation source.
Turning the Fuzz switch ON (up) pushes the filter into more aggressive and unpredictable behavior, with the character changing dramatically depending on the cutoff and resonance settings.
