VCA Timbre

VCA Timbre is a dual-channel module combining VCAs with switchable response curves and Buchla-style wavefolders (Timbre).

In each channel, the VCA OUT is internally connected to the Timbre IN, allowing the signal level to be shaped by the VCA and then sent directly into the wavefolder.

By adjusting the input gain to the wavefolder, you can greatly change the harmonic content and the character of the folding, creating a wide range of tones from simple waveforms to rich and complex textures.

VCA Timbre provides two independent channels of compact and flexible tone shaping by combining amplitude control and wavefolding in a single module.
